What are your rates?

Do you have insurance? 

Jasmine currently has a Working With Children Check, Federal Police Clearance & Public Liability Insurance.

What areas do you travel to? 

Anywhere! Our primary area is the Peel region, however for a specified travel fee we will travel to Perth and the South West (Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River etc).

How soon should I book? 

To ensure booking availability, we recommend you book at least 1 - 2 months prior to your event, 3 - 4  months if its high season such as festive summer season.

Do I need to pay a deposit? 

For bookings of multiple hours, a deposit is required to secure your spot.

What is your refund policy? 

We understand that ‘life’ happens but please note that all cancellations are to be made in writing and to be received by Little Fairy Face Painting no later than 12 days prior to the event to avoid any penalty charges. Cancellations between 12 days and up to 48 hours prior to the event will be charged a 50% booking fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior will be still charged in full. The decision to cancel due to bad weather can be discussed on the day however we can generally continue indoors depending on the venue. If you feel there may not be such an alternative, we would appreciate if you contact us before we are due to arrive on site otherwise full charges will still apply.

Do you paint for charity or not for profit events?

We happily support non-for-profit & charity events.  Unfortunately we are not able to support all events, however please contact us to discuss your requirements and budget.

Do you have a minimum booking time and how many faces can you book in one hour? 

We require a minimum booking of 1.5 hours (however this can be negotiated).  On average we can paint 10 faces in an hour.

Is the paint safe for children? 

It is cosmetic grade, FDA and EU approved, non toxic and hypoallergenic.  It is suitable for most children over the age of 3 years.. for children under the age of 3, we will paint on their arm or at the parent/carer or painter’s discretion.

What if my child reacts to the paint? 

Patch testing’ is available on request. A small amount of paint will be placed on the inside of the arm and left for at least 1 hour, after which time we can determine whether your skin is likely to react to further application of the product. Little Fairy has never had a child react, however if this is to happen please contact us immediately and seek medical advice.

How do you remove the paint after the event? 

You can remove the paint using warm soapy water, moisturiser or baby oil.

My child recently had a cold.  Can you still paint their face? 

Little Fairy Face Painting will refuse painting  any customer that shows signs of skin allergy and or infections, such as cold sores, conjunctivitis, sties, chicken pox etc. for the safety for all customers.

What are your hygiene practices? 

Each child has their own painting sponge, we regularly change our water and have an organic sanitising solution that is used to wash the brushes regularly. Recommendations from https://ww2.health.wa.gov.au/Articles/F_I/Face-and-body-painting

My child got paint on their clothes, will you replace them? 

Little Fairy Face Painting will not accept any responsibility for damage done to clothes and or property. Try using mixing your washing powder into a paste with water and letting it sit for a few minutes before hand washing in cold water!

COVID 19 - Safety Plan for Little Fairy Face Painting 

  • The Artist has a Certificate of Covid19 Infection Control through the Australian Depeartment of Health.

  • Mandatory Register Contact Tracing: All persons who receive face painting must provide contact name and phone number for contact tracing purposes.

  • All clients must sanitise hands before being painted.

  • The Artist will wash hands on arrival and sanitise hands in-between clients. One sponge will be used per client and all brushes and equipment will be sanitised regularly between clients.

  • The Artist requires a self-contained area in which to set up, separate from the main event, approximately 1.5metres, fully sheltered and with lighting.

  • The Artist will not, under any circumstances, paint anyone showing any signs or illness - sneezing, coughing etc. If the person in the chair (adult or child) sneezes or couches on the Artist while being painted, they will be required to immediately leave the chair and wash their hands.

  • If any person at the event shows any sign of illness the Artist reserves the right to refuse face painting to any individuals showing symptoms or signs of illness.
